Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: 1421.60   Temperature: 

Inflow: 100 cfs Outflow: 0 cfs Level: 0.61 feet high

Minimum Length on Walleye is 21" and a 2-day creel limit.

Minimum length on Wiper and Stripers is 21"  and a 2-day aggregate creel limit

Minimum length on Crappie is 10" 

Crappie slow to fair using small jigs

Walleye slow using slab spoons

Wiper slow to fair using sassy shad or slab spoons

White Bass slow using slab spoons in the channel

Channel Catfish slow to fair using shad sides

COUNCIL GROVE

Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: 1274.0 Temperature: 

Inflow: 5 cfs Outflow: 24 cfs Level: 0.68 feet high

There is a new 20 per day Crappie creel limit and is effective January 1, 2005

Some saugeye have been taken with crank bait the this week and last week. Some have been caught this week on night crawlers. Length has been running about 19-23 in.

Some catfish on night crawlers running about 3-4 lbs. One man with trot lines and using gold fish caught some 10 lb catfish.

All reports are from the reservoir. All fishing seems to be spotty. Hope it improves soon.

EL DORADO RESERVOIR

Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: 1339.0 Temperature: 

Inflow: 30 cfs Outflow: 13 cfs Level: 1.82 feet high

WARNING Zebra Mussel were verified on August 26, 2003 so beware.

A 35-inch minimum length limit on BLUE CATFISH became effective on January 1, 2005

A 18-inch minimum length limit on WALLEYE

A 18-inch minimum length limit on WIPERS

Black Bass No Report

Channel Catfish  slow

Blue Catfish slow

White Crappie fair in 6 to 8 feet of water

Walleye No Report

Wipers slow 

White Bass fair to good using sassy shad or minnows under a bobber

MARION RESERVOIR

Inflow: 10 cfs Outflow: 15 cfs Level: 0.18 feet high

Catfish over chum holes going great guns. From boats others are catching walleye lot of them short and still others are 

catching white bass and the hybrid called the wiper. Catching fish along the shore line is a little harder but there are some good points that warrant trying.

White Crappie fair to good using jigs and minnows in 18 to 25 feet of water

Crappie : slow being caught on minnows 

Catfish: excellent  being caught on sonneys stink bait and worms    

Largemouth bass: good around rock jetties

White bass: fair on minnows 

Walleye: slow
