Fishing Report by: John Boy Guide Service

We are off and running, the bite is on for all species. Lots of white bass mostly at the west end of the lake. Trolling spinners or crankbaits is working well.

Catfish also at the west end of the lake, biting on shad sides and shrimp.

Wiper are being caught at the dam and south side rocky points evenings and early morning casting spinnerbaits and jigs.

Walleye are scattered around the lake.

We have been doing well drifting John Boy Spinners and propeller rigs tipped with crawlers at almost any main lake point. Wind blowing into the point will spur the bite shallow 8-10 fow and we are moving deeper out to 20' when the wind is calm and slow trolling with bow mount.

We have a few open days for the week of June 16th. This bite should last through mid July with good inflows coming into the lake. John Boy Guide Service
