Above Sailboat Bridge: Muddy
Sailboat Bridge to Horse Creek: Dirty to Stained
Horsecreek to the Dam: Lightly Stained to Clear
Water Temp: 49 to 56 degrees
Bass: The bass are doing real well right now, but with the water on the rise and muddying up they might not be for long. LuckyCraft pointer 100 and 78's are producing a a lot of fish midlake to the dam. Hart Sniper series and War Eagle spinnerbaits are producing some good limits in the same areas as the stick baits. Black/Blue jigs are the drop baits producing the best.
Crappie: The crappie are starting to bite a lot better week after week. All the local public heated docks are producing good catches as well as the private docks. Grandpa's sparkle body jigs are still hot, you have to give these jigs a try. Chartreuse, reds, or blues top color producers. The ole fat head tuffy crappie minnow is catching his share of fish.
White Bass/Hybrids-There are still a lot of white bass around the Patricia Island area. Jigging spoons on the deeper fish and Bangtail spinners, curly grubs and 1/4 oz. Rattle traps on the shallower fish.
Catfish: The cats are still biting well on shad and perch. The bigger cats are in the 20 to 40 ft depths, and good numbers of 2 to 4 pound fish in the 8 to 15 ft. depths.
