Above Sailboat Bridge: Dirty Sailboat Bridge to Horse Creek: Dirty to Stained
Horsecreek to the Dam: Lightly Stained to Clear
Water Temp: 39 to 42 degrees
Bass: The stick bait bite is still going strong this
week. The key right now is just getting a day when it isn't snowing, blowing or two
degrees. Lucky Craft suspenders are the only bait you need, the Pointer100, 78,
and 78DD are by far the best choices. Nishiki, Aurora black, Chartreuse Light Blue,
and American Shad have been favorite colors.
Crappie: The crappie are getting better every week. Grandpa's Jigs are still leading the way, but the panfish assassins are making some catches.
White Bass/Hybrids-The white bass are biting well in the upper Spring River area. 1.4 oz. jigheads coupled with 2" or 3" curaty tail grubs.
Catfish: The catfish are continuing to bite well in the 25 to 40 ft depth. Goldfish and cut perch are producing the best.
