Bass-The Carolina rig bite is producing real well on main lake points and large secondaries. Zoom Brushhogs and 10" Berkley power worms are the preferred bait for riggers. The dock bite continues to produce good catches on Eakins jigs, 10" Power worms, and Berkley Gulp minnow worms. The topwater bite has improved, with the Frenzy popper and Hart Ticker buzz being the top choices.
Crappie-Crappie are biting well this week, with some quality fish as well. Grandpas jigs in chartreuse or pink patterns are the hot ticket this week. Jigs and minnows both are being teamed with The Berkley Crappie Nibbles in chartreuse. Brush piles in the 8 to 12 ft. ranges are producing the best. The bridge piers are producing well.
Catfish- Juggers and trotliners are all making good catches in the 15 to 25 ft. range. Shad are the hottest bait for our whiskered friend, sides, guts, hole it just doesn't matter. Bank fishing is really good this week using livers, shad, and Danny Kings punchbait.
White bass- White bass are still slow right now. There are some being caught around the Sailboat bridge area.
