lake level as of 11/8/04 is 743.75, there is full generation and no flood gates open.
Bass-The bass fishing has been slow this week with the water rising, getting colder and dirty. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits are talking a few fish into biting. Jigs and tubes are catching a few as well.
Crappie-Crappie are biting good this week, with some quality fish as well. Grandpas jigs in chartreuse or pink patterns are the hot ticket this week. Jigs and minnows both are being teamed with The Berkley Crappie Nibbles in chartreuse. Brush piles in the 8 to 12 ft. ranges are producing the best. The bridge piers are producing well.
Catfish-Bank fishing is really good this week using livers, shad, and Danny Kings punch bait around the Twin bridges and Bernice State park areas.
White bass- The white bass are slow this week, but should get better soon.
