There is five units of generation and no flood gates open.
Bass- The bass are still slow this week with the water conditions still
unstable. The Carolina rig bite is producing a few bites on the lower end of the
lake. The docks are your best bet with most of the fish moving into the brush.
Eakins jigs, Hart Shocker tubes, and Berkley Gulp minnow producing the best. The
300 series Bandit crankbaits are catching a few fish in the 6-10 foot range.
Crappie- Crappie are biting well on the lower end of the lake, in 14-20
foot range. Grandpas jigs in chartreuse or whites are being teamed with minnows
for the best results. The Berkley Crappie Nibbles in chartreuse are being use
when at all possible.
Catfish- Bank fishing is really good off of main lake points using
livers, shad, and Danny Kings punch bait. Juggers and trotliners are making good
catches on some quality cats in the 20 foot depths.
White bass- White bass are slow this week due to water conditions.
