Above Sailboat bridge- muddy

Horse Creek to the dam- lightly stained to clear
lake level as of 5/23/05 is 744.3, there is full generation and no flood gates are open.
Bass-The spawn is winding down and the majority of the bass have moved into post spawn. The Carolina rig and crankbaits bites are hot! Main lake points and secondary are loaded with feeding fish in the 8-15 ft range. Zoom Brush hogs and lizards are the hottest baits by far. The top water bite is starting to come on as well, with the Hart Ticker buzz leading the way.
Crappie-The crappie are biting well all over the lake, but with the rising muddy water the crappie on the upper end could start slowing down real quick. The docks are still the hottest spots, but the main lake breaks and ledges are starting to load up with post spawn slabs!
Catfish- Cats are moving into the rocks and around the schooling gar. There are numerous channels and blues getting ripped out from under the gar, with shrimp and worms being the primary baits.
White bass- The white bass in the lake are starting to spawn on the gravel flats and points. Small crankbaits and Firecracker grubs are producing the best.
Drum- The Big drum are moving up the rivers as well. Cut shad and crawdads are the best baits. The bridge piers and deep canal swings are the areas with the larger schools of drum.
