Lake Map

Report by: Littlefield Sporting Goods

Above Sailboat bridge- muddy
Sailboat bridge to Horse Creek- dirty
Horse Creek to the dam- lightly stained

lake level as of 6/28/05 is 745.06 there is full generation and no flood gates are open.

Bass- The Carolina rig is producing the better fish. Brush hogs and lizards are the riggers bait choice. The willows are holding a lot of keeper fish, but it is hard to get the quality fish you need. Docks are holding fish as well. The top water bite is starting to come on as well, with the Hart Ticker buzz leading the way.

Crappie-The crappie have been slow this week. The crappie that are biting ,are doing so early morning.

Catfish- The flathead's are in the holes, and the noodlers are have a blast! Juggers are catching good numbers on shad all over the lake.

White bass- The white bass in the lake have moved out and are biting the jigging spoons. They are starting to surface feed in parts of Horse Creek and Elk River. Small crankbaits and Firecracker grubs are producing the best.
