Above Sailboat bridge- stained
Sailboat bridge to Horse Creek- lightly stained
Horse Creek to the dam- lightly stained to clear
Lake level as of 9/20/05 is 741.60 there is three units generation and no flood
gates are open.
Bass- The Berkly 10" power worm and Eakins jig are producing well on boat docks and in the brush around docks. Carolina riggers are still catching good Numbers and quality on main lake points and secondaries. The Hart Tickerbuzz and Storm Chugbug are the best topwater baits right now, and they are producing some big fish.
Crappie- The docks are your best bet right now. Crappie are biting from 4 ft to 15 ft. and at different times of the day. Whites, grays, and pinks are the hottest jig colors.
Catfish- The cats are biting well all around the lake, from shallow to deep. Juggers are catching good numbers on shad all over the lake. Trotliners are making good catches with the water falling. They are setting their lines in the water from 8-14 ft. deep. Green sunfish and shad are the baits of choice.
White bass- The white bass in the lake have moved out and are biting the jigging spoons. They are starting to surface feed all over the lake. The evening time is the best time to find them surface feeding
