Above Sailboat bridge- lightly stained
Sailboat bridge to Horse Creek- lightly stained
Horse Creek to the dam- clear

lake level as of 6/19/06 is 744.29 and there are three units of generation and no flood gates are open.

Bass- The top water bite is outstanding early and late on Zara Spooks and Buzz baits. Carolina rigging Brush hogs are producing some quality fish in the 10-18 foot depths. Shaky heads teamed with the new Berkley Gulp shaky worm has been a killer this week for numbers and an occasional good one.

Crappie- The crappie are slow, but the docks and main lake breaks will give you the best chance for a limit. Minnows and Grandpas jigs continue to make the best catches.

Catfish-  The catfish are spawning, and fishing is great. The  Flatheads are in the holes, and the Channels and Blues are in the rocks. The shrimp and cork method along the bluffs and riprap are just killing them.

White bass-  Anywhere on the lake is a hot spot, the white bass are biting great all over the lake. Jigging spoons give you the best opportunity for a good limit.
