Updated 07/19/04 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: 2144.0 Temperature: 86 Clarity: 3 foot Inflow: 5 cfs Outflow: 0 cfs Level: 7.32 feet low Report by: Bert's Corner All Ramps are usable except Comanche Ramp in the South Shore State Park and it is out of the water. Bluegill: no report Largemouth Bass Fair Located in coves with lots of vegetation using bushhogs or spinners. Smallmouth Bass No Report Channel Catfish good in the river on trotlines and limb lines using hot dogs, chicken livers and sun perch Crappie Fair to good at night under a light in 15 to 20 ft. of water, using minnows or chartreuse-white road runners. Rainbow Trout No Report Walleye poor too hot!!!! occasionally off points in about 10 to 15 ft of water, around trees, with wobble jigs or stand-up jigs White Bass/Wipers good lake wide, chasing shad, surfacing in schools along with white bass in early evening or early mornings. The daily Creel Limit for Wipers is 2. GLEN

Largemouth Bass fair by the dam in Leota Cove using spinnerbaits and crank baits Carp No Report Bluegill fair using worms around the dock Channel Catfish good using shad and worms around the mouth of Shoen's cove Crappie poor using jigs and minnows on the public fishing dock and the marina dock Saugeye/Walleye fair around the dam using worms and jigs Wipers good along the north corner of the dam using jigs, shad and worms Updated 07/16/04 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool:1892.5 Temperature: 84 Inflow: 15 cfs Outflow: 0 cfs Level: 21.71 feet low Wipers/White Bass good using shad or shrimp around the North side of the Methodist Camp Crappie fair using minnows and jigs around the North and South shore fish attractors Channel Catfish good using worms on the bottom Flathead good using minnows, sunfish and stink bait at the west end of the lake Largemouth Bass poor using spinnerbaits in the weeds and along the rocky shoreline Rainbow trout good using power baits and salmon eggs Smallmouth Bass poor along the rocky points Walleye fair using night crawlers and minnows while drifting over the humps Updated 07/20/04 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: 1516.0 Temperature: Inflow: 50 cfs Outflow: 15 cfs Level: 1.83 feet low Report by Bud's Bait & Tackle Stripers shallow as well as deep and surfacing the past two days. Live bait working for many of the anglers. Throwing small jigs will entice the surfacing fish. Walleye are still being taken on worms in 15 to 20 feet. Some were caught in 40 foot. But only one report. Still some under 15 but a lot of keepers still being caught. White perch still out there but a little harder to find now. Catfish lake wide on all types of bait.
