Report by CANADA
BAIT 'N' TACKLE Braggin' Board
The last picture taken 9 17 04 was of a no charge guided trip for the
handicap. Each year the fish and game, Marion Lake ASSN and Canada Bait N
Tackle host a Muzzle loaders Handicap Hunt for deer. So during that time
one morning is chosen to treat these special persons to a fishing trip.
This year they came back with a very good catch. Then on the last day of
the hunt they have a fish fry to treat all the volunteers and their
families and the hunters and their families to a meal.
Warren and I were unable to attend this event because of surgery on his
left shoulder to repair the left rotator cuff. The other picture dated 9
22 04 is the last guided trip Warren will be doing this year but he'll be
back in the spring hopefully in full swing after all these surgeries that
he has had in a years time. However if he had to quit might as well quit
on a good note of 33 channel catfish of nice size being brought in. All
had a very good time.
Water temp was in lower 70's but now is probably closer to mid to high
60's. Fall Fishing good for Walleye, White Bass/Wiper and channel.
Remember Canada Bait N Tackle is available year round to give service to
our fishermen. Do close for short vacation late October lst November and
through some of the Winter holidays so call us 620-382-2931 sometimes
before coming to make sure that we are here. Thank you for a great
Summer!!!!!
