Report by: Clint's Bait and Tackle

Hello folks,
Sorry I haven't been on for a while but had to spend some time in the hospital. But am back now and selling bait and talking to the fisher people. So here goes at what is going on around here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Crappie-they have been getting some fair crappie in the res and the city lake here. We all know it will be a while before the big ones will be up but at least they are getting a few keepers now. They have been hitting on minnows and a few jigs.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Walleye-have had reports of some nice walleye caught at the lakes and in the creeks. Most have been caught using crawlers and a few jigs. But a minnow should lure one in also. No big ones as of yet but they are keepers from all I have seen.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Bass---we have been told that some white bass are being caught in munkers creek along with at the city lake. Minnows and jigs have been to their likening at the present.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Catfish-the channel cats are doing real good from all we have been told. They are hitting on livers, craelers, and shad guts. And weave seen a couple good sized ones. That is a good sign we may have a good catfish year.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
We are open 7 days a week and have a good supply of bait and tackle for your fishing needs. We also have the state and city fishing permits and the city boat permits.

We all hope to see you this year and remember that if we are not in the shop just run across the street and get us. We will be glad to get what you need.
