Things are really starting to go good here in council grove as you will see. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crappie-they are hitting pretty good in all the usual places at this time. The upper river the lower river and munkers creek are good. But they are hitting good in the lakes also. They are telling us that some are hitting jigs but a minnow by far out numbers it all. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Walleye-the walleyes are being some what elusive but there have been some nice keepers taken home. A jig or minnows work equal at this stage of the game. This is at either lake and in the creeks and river. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bass----most of the people that have been bass fishing have been hitting the farm ponds and doing real well.. We have had a couple say they have caught them at the city lake. Just about all baits have been working on them.' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Catfish-the channel cats have been going good for a couple weeks. It doesn't seem to matter what water you are fishing you can get a channel cat. They are hitting shad guts and shad sides, livers, crawlers. And crawdads at this time. the flatheads are not moving as of now.============================================================= This report was brought to you by all of us at Clint's bait & tackle where we are open 7 days a week and have a good line of baits and tackle for you outing needs.
